At the trails end, we reach the Espiritu Santo River—a hidden sanctuary tucked away in the rainforest. Carefully make your way down rock steps to explore the river’s spectacular pools. Depending on the recent weather, the waters may be crystal clear and inviting or take on a wilder, more mysterious character after rainfall. Either way, it’s a refreshing and invigorating experience. Take a swim, dip your toes in, or simply relax and soak in the peaceful energy of this sacred place.

The return ride ascends back through the rainforest, offering a fresh perspective of the landscape as sunlight filters through the canopy. We’ll pause at a scenic lookout on horseback, capturing the breathtaking views before continuing our ascent to the barn. From there, we proceed on foot to the observation deck, where you’ll get one last stunning view of El Yunque and enjoy the taste of fresh, in-season fruit picked straight from the tree—a perfect way to end the journey.
