Waiver:

  1. I understand that horseback riding and all activities related to horses can be dangerous.
  2. I understand that La Vista Rides does not insure against all of the possible injuries and loss connected with horse related activities on the premises.
  3.  I understand that injuries can occur due to my own negligence, negligence of others or because of the unpredictable nature of horses.
  4.  I voluntarily assume any and all risks of injury or death while in, or upon the premises of La Vista Rides.
  5.  I hereby voluntarily assume any and all risk of injury or death while involved in, or with, any trail ride, show, clinic, or other function held on the grounds of, or promoted or sponsored by La Vista Rides.
  6.  I voluntarily release La Vista Rides, its agents, employees and principals for any accident, loss, damage, injury or death occurring to myself, my minor child, my horses, or any property while involved with La Vista Rides.
  7.  In return for the use, today and on all other future dates of the property. facilities and services of the owner, the rider, his or her heirs, assigns and/or legal representatives hereby expressly agree to the following:
    1. It is the responsibility of the rider to carry full and complete insurance coverage on his/her horse, personal property, and himself/herself.
    2. Rider assumes any/or all risks involved in, or arising from rider’s use of or presence upon, owner’s property and facilities including but not limited to the risks of death, bodily injury, property damage, falls, kicks, bites, collisions with vehicles, horses or stationary objects, fire or explosion, the unavailability of emergency medical care, or negligence or deliberate acts of another person.
    3. Rider agrees to hold owner and all of his/her successors, assigns, subsidiaries, franchises, affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents completely harmless, and release them from all liability whatsoever and agrees not to sue them on account of or in connection with any claims, causes of action, injuries, damages, costs or expenses arising out of rider’s use of or presence upon owner’s property, facilities or participation in owner’s functions or events, including without limitation, those based on death, bodily injury, property damage, including consequential damages.
    4. Rider agrees to abide by all La Vista Rides rules and regulations both verbal and written.
    5. If Rider is using his or her horse, the horse shall be free from infection, contagious or transmittable disease. Owner reserves the right to refuse any horse if not in proper health or deemed dangerous or undesirable.
    6. This contract is not-assignable and non-transferable and is made and entered into in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and shall be enforced and interpreted under the laws of the Commonwealth.
